Please note - this spout is a genuine replacement for the Abode Orcus Aquifier T2072 tap. Older versions of the tap may differ slightly at the base, as pictured below. This new, improved spout now includes an additional PTFE ring which improves stability and reduces movement during use.

Useful Tips

Leaks around the base of the spout are most commonly caused by worn O-rings, while limescale build-up, corrosion or damage to the spout itself can also affect performance. Most kitchen tap spouts are held in place by a small grub screw or retaining nut, allowing the old spout to be removed and a replacement fitted in just a few simple steps.

Before installing the new spout, clean the inside of the tap body to remove any limescale or debris, then apply a small amount of silicone grease to the O-rings on the replacement spout to ensure a smooth swivel action and help maintain a reliable, watertight seal. Once the new spout is fully inserted and securely tightened, your tap will be restored without the expense of replacing the complete unit.
