Genuine Astracast Shannon Spout Chrome 3218R
⚠️ Important Information
This is the latest version of the Astracast Shannon Spout and is the one the manufacturer now recommends, no matter how old your tap is.
If you are replacing an older spout, don't worry if the new one looks a little different. The original spout (part 3218R) had 3 O-rings, was slightly shorter where it fits into the tap body, and didn't have the plastic bearing ring.
The new replacement spout (part 3926R) has 4 O-rings, a slightly longer section that fits into the tap, and an added plastic bearing ring. These changes were made by the manufacturer to give the spout better support, a smoother swivel action, and a more secure fit.
Rest assured: The new spout is fully compatible with all older Astracast taps. Even if it doesn't look exactly the same as the one you are replacing, it has been designed to fit perfectly and is simply an improved version.

A leaking, loose or damaged kitchen tap spout doesn't always mean replacing the entire tap. In most cases, the spout can be removed and replaced separately, making it a quick, simple and cost-effective way to restore your tap.
Useful Tips
Leaks around the base of the spout are most commonly caused by worn O-rings, while limescale build-up, corrosion or damage to the spout itself can also affect performance. Most kitchen tap spouts are held in place by a small grub screw or retaining nut, allowing the old spout to be removed and a replacement fitted in just a few simple steps. Before installing the new spout, clean the inside of the tap body to remove any limescale or debris, then apply a small amount of silicone grease to the O-rings on the replacement spout to ensure a smooth swivel action and help maintain a reliable, watertight seal. Once the new spout is fully inserted and securely tightened, your tap will be restored without the expense of replacing the complete unit.
