Franke Zurich Brass Bush 3408R - 36MM

There is one bush required per valve. If you are replacing both valves, please order two bushes. If you are replacing only one valve, you only need to order one bush.

The replacement bush is the same for both the hot and cold valves - there is no difference between them.

3408R Replacement Brass Bush is designed for situations where the valve comes out attached to the bush and the two cannot be separated.

Take care when removing your old valve

When removing an old tap valve, it is common for the brass retaining ring (also known as the bush) to come out attached to the valve. Although it may seem stuck, the bush can usually be removed and reused.

If the bush is difficult to separate from the old valve, apply a small amount of penetrating oil or WD-40 around the joint and leave it for a few minutes to work. Carefully loosen the bush, taking care not to damage the threads.

Once removed, screw the bush back into the tap body and tighten securely. You can then fit your replacement tap valve as normal.

If the bush is damaged or cannot be removed, a replacement bush may be required. One bush is required per valve.
