Genuine Abode Atlas Aquifier Spout - Chrome 3218R 3926R

Abode Atlas Aquifier Spout 3218R (also now on latest installation guides as 3926R/SP3926).

Includes the O-Ring Kit 1425R and Perlator 1263R. Requires a 2.5mm allen key to tighten new grub screw (keep your original grub screw to use with the new spout).

Please note: This is the latest version of the spout and the one recommended by the manufacturer, regardless of the age of your tap.

Earlier versions of the spout were slightly shorter where they fit into the tap and did not include the additional plastic bearing ring. The manufacturer has updated the design by extending the spout and adding the bearing ring for improved stability.

The updated spout is compatible with all older versions of the Atlas Aquifier tap. Don't be concerned if it looks different from your existing spout — these changes are simply design improvements recommended by the manufacturer.

How to change a Kitchen Tap Spout

1. Turn off the water supply to the tap.

2. Using a 2mm or 2.5 mm Allen key, loosen and remove the grub screw located at the rear of the tap body that secures the spout.   Alternatively, if your tap has a locking nut at the base of the spout, simply turn the locking nut anti-clockwise to loosen it.

3. Carefully lift the spout straight upwards. If the spout has not been removed for some time, it may be tight due to limescale or worn seals. Gently twist the spout while pulling upwards until it comes free.

4. Clean the inside of the tap body to remove any dirt, debris, or limescale.

5. Lightly lubricate the new O-rings with a silicone-based plumber's grease. Do not use petroleum-based grease like vaseline, as this can damage the rubber seals.

6. Carefully insert the spout back into the tap body, ensuring it is fully seated and rotates smoothly.

7. Refit and tighten the grub screw to secure the spout. Do not overtighten, as this may damage the screw or restrict the movement of the spout.

8. Turn the water supply back on and check for any leaks around the base of the spout. Rotate the spout several times to ensure it moves freely and the seals are seated correctly.
