The tap valves for the Rangemaster Traditional Belfast Bridge TBL1 tap are reversed. The cold valve fits in the hot side, the hot valve fits in the cold side. If you need to replace your hot valve, please order the cold.
There are varying versions of the Rangemaster Traditional Belfast Bridge tap. This valve is for the TBL1 version that requires 24 spline valves. Your tap handle will look like this:

SP1265 1265R - Overall height: 48mm, Nut height: 7mm, Diameter at thread: 21mm, Splines: 24, Height of splines: 5mm.
