Restore your kitchen tap and stop leaks around the bottom of your spout with this replacement O-ring kit.

Worn or damaged O-rings are one of the most common causes of water leaking from the base of a swivel spout. Replacing them is a simple and cost-effective way to extend the life of your tap.

If your tap is dripping from the top of your spout, then you need to replace the cartridge.

Kit contains:

• 2 x black rubber rings
• 2 x white plastic ring

Common Signs you need to replace your o-ring kit

• Water leaking from the base of the spout when the tap is turned on
• Drips appearing around the swivel joint
• Stiff or rough spout movement caused by worn seals

Important Inspection

Before replacing the O-rings, inspect the spout carefully. 

If the spout has developed pinholes, corrosion, cracks, or excessive wear, replacing the O-rings will not stop the leak. Water can escape through damaged metal, and in these cases the entire spout should be replaced. 

Also inspect the sealing surfaces where the O-rings sit. Deep scoring, corrosion, or heavy wear can prevent the new seals from working correctly.
