Stop your Franke Filterflow Doric tap from dripping or leaking. If your tap is dripping from the end of the spout, replacing the valves (cartridges) will usually solve the problem. If water is leaking from the base of the spout, where the spout meets the tap body, replacing the O-rings is normally all that's needed. We also recommend adding our silicone grease to your order to make fitting the new O-rings quicker and easier.
Please note: Franke Triflow taps were manufactured until May 2011, after which they were replaced by the Franke FilterFlow range.
How to Identify a Franke Triflow Doric or FilterFlow Doric Tap
The Franke FilterFlow Doric and the older Triflow Doric look very similar, but there are two simple ways to tell them apart.
- Triflow Doric (pre-May 2011): Features a raised plinth (base plate) beneath the tap body where it sits on the sink or worktop, along with a thin locking nut at the base of the swivel spout.
- FilterFlow Doric (May 2011 onwards): Does not have the raised plinth or the thin locking nut at the base of the spout, giving it a cleaner, more streamlined appearance.
These two tap ranges use different valves, cartridges and other spare parts, so it's important to identify your tap before ordering. The quickest way is to check whether your tap has the raised plinth beneath the body and the locking nut at the base of the spout.
