Which Replacement Part Do You Need?
- Tap dripping from the end of the spout? You will most likely need to replace the relevant tap valve or cartridge.
- Water leaking or dripping around the joint between the base of the spout and the tap body? A replacement O-ring kit is usually required to restore a watertight seal.
To make the repair easier, why not also purchase our silicone grease? It helps lubricate the O-rings during installation, making them easier to fit and helping to protect the seals.
Is Your Tap a Franke Filterflow Olympus or an Older Triflow Olympus?
It is important to identify your tap correctly before ordering, as the two ranges look similar but use different parts. The original Triflow taps were manufactured until May 2011 and were subsequently replaced by the Franke Filterflow range.
The easiest way to distinguish between the two models is to check the markings on top of the handle levers:
- Franke Triflow Olympus: Coloured dots – red, green and blue.
- Franke Filterflow Olympus: Etched letters – H (Hot), F (Filtered) and C (Cold).
If your tap has coloured dots on the handles, you need parts for the older Triflow Olympus instead.
